Our balms & body butters are made out of oils and butters that have a certain melting point. While room temp is great for them, in transit heat of trucks and postal warehouses may cause melting, especially during summer months. Due to this, please refrigerate right side up for about 30 minutes before breaking seal and opening. If product has leaked, please contact The Rainbow Alchemist.

Yes!!! During checkout, choose "In Store Pickup" for local. While The Rainbow Alchemist does not currently have a brick & mortar store location, I will honor local pickups. Please email or text to confirm pickup and discuss details. Address listed is Ashland local post office. That can be used as a pickup location, or other arrangements can be made.

When a body is particulary deficient in magnesium, adding the oil to the bottom of feet - or elsewhere on body - may cause temporary tingling. This tingling goes away within a few minutes. As the body increases it's magnesium levels, this tingling will go away. 

Magnesium Oil is made out of magnesium chloride which is a salt. Because of this, it will tend to cause exfoliation, especially if using on feet which tend to be more calloused with a buildup of dead skin cells. This sloughing of skin can be easily exfoliated the rest of way during bathing with a pumice stone or one of our sugar srubs. If this is bothersome, follow up spraying oil on feet with a lotion then socks to prevent this from happening.
